Getting Ready for Japan

I am currently in the process of getting ready to go to Japan on a exchange program for 3 months.  The school that I am going to is Minoshima High School in Wakayama. This is an area that I have visited many times because my grandparents live there.  I have gone to elementary and part of middle school in Japan in summers to make friends. My goals on this trip is to make new friends, integrate into the school, and work on my Japanese.  I am nervous and excited to go on this trip. Although I have been to Japan many times, this will be my first time going alone. Currently I am packing my stuff, and my room looks like a mess because of it.  While in Japan I am supposed to stay with 4 host families and my grandma’s house. During my time in Japan I decided to make a blog, so that I could document the experience as well as share the experience with others.  I hope that the trip is successful, and that I learn a lot about Japanese culture and school life.
