Barbecue (Day 3)

This morning Ueda-san's (grandmother's friend) granddaughters came to visit.  They are 4 and 3 years old.  They are very cute, and like to sing songs.  When I was walking them back we stopped by the river, and noticed a lot of crabs and loaches.  It was really sad that they were all dying because of the runoff from the pesticides on the farms.  The saddest part was when I tried to catch them I did not want to catch one that was dying or dead, so I couldn't catch anything.  A couple hours later I went to a barbecue at my friend Tsubasa and Ritsuki's house.  We had yakiniku.  Yakiniku is only served on special occasions.  Today's yakiniku had onigiri (rice balls), vegetables, horumone (innerds), various cuts of beef, steak, and sausages.  It was very good.  We also had a drink called kids beer.  It is a cider that looks like beer that kids drink.  Overall I had a busy day, and am preparing to move to my host family tomorrow morning.
