(Day 8)

Today was another normal day at school.  One especially interesting thing happened in class though.  Starting about second period a sheet of paper was being passed around that had drawings on it.  It was going around all the boys in the class, and we were drawing pictures on it.  By the end of the day the sheet of paper was filled with funny drawings, bad drawings, anime drawings, etc.  It was very weird to see the way that played out.  We also had a gym test today.  I was a little surprised at this because in the US gym is a lighthearted period that is meant as a mental break for students.  However in Japan it is a very serious class, and students are graded based on many things including athletic ability.  After school I came home, and played with my host brothers.  I am excited for the weekend because I think I need a mental break from Japanese school.  Although school is very fun, my brain and body is very tired from the stress of going to a new school.  I have made many new friends, and plan to make more friends once club activities start in a week.
