Today I went fishing again with my host brothers. The water today was not wild at all, so we were able to catch many fish. When we tried the anazuri method (inside the holes) it did not go very well. We only caught one gashira. However when we decided to switch to the sabiki method we were able to catch many koaji (small aji) and mackerel. We had found a nesting place for the koaji. We were able to catch the koaji every 10 seconds or so (I will post a video below). In total we had caught 230 fish exactly.
