Today was my last day with the Sakai family. I had a great time at their house. I especially enjoyed going fishing and spending time with the whole family at night. Thank you very much for having me for a month and lets meet again some time.

This morning I woke up at 7 to see Ryosuke off to his tennis practice before I leave. It felt very weird thinking that I would be going home to another house after school everyday. At around 10 we packed the car, and left for my grandmother's house. Syunnsuke and my host mother and father came to drop me off. Afterwards, Yoshihiko, head of family, came to visit to discuss about plans for tomorrow. Then my friend Tsubasa came over because we had not seen each other in a month. When I was walking Tsubasa home we saw a pretty big snake. The snake was eating a frog. I tried to catch the snake using two pieces of metal, but failed.

At night my grandmother and I were invited for yakiniku at Ueda-san's house. Her family was there too. We are planning to go catch fish using a net in the river that runs through town. This is an activity that I used to do often. When I got home I was greeted by an "oshiire gumo", closet spider. It is a harmless spider, but is extremely large.
