This morning was a terrible rainstorm. All of the students were hoping for a "ouame keihou", big rain warning. If this comes up, then school would be dismissed. There are many other keihou's, but ouame is the easiest one to get. I was dropped off at school today since riding my bike would be very hard. When I got in many people were did not have shoes and socks on and were also either in their undershirts or gym shirts. One person had to go the the health office to get a change of clothes. For dessert my host grandma made "kantenn" which is a type of dessert made of seaweed. It looks like jello. It is very good, but not very sweet dessert. I liked the orange flavored one the best.
