Today there was a break in the rain. For the past couple of days there has been almost no sun because of tsuyu. Today was extremely hot and humid. After my half day I had shogi and table tennis practice. Usually we wouldn't have shogi on a half day, but since we have a tournament on Sunday we had practice today. I was playing better than before so that was good. Table tennis was extremely exhausting today because we are on the second floor with no ventilation. Tomorrow I have a table tennis match with Taikyu "koukou" (high school).

Noah sorry I have not checked in for a bit. It sounds like you are having a great trip. I appreciate your dedication to keeping us updated. I'm actually visiting your granpartents today and will be playing golf so hello from Pittsfield from myself, Grandma and Poppop.
